View from Faulhorn onto Scharzhorn and Wildgärst.
The Schwarzhorn is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located between Brienz and Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland. With a height of 2,928 metres above sea level, it is the highest summit of the group north of the Grosse Scheidegg Pass. The Schwarzhorn is also the highest point in the municipality of Brienz.
A small glacier named Blau Gletscherli lies on the north side of the mountain.
The Schwarzhorn is regarded as one of the most stunning look-out peaks in the Bernese Oberland. Its summit can be accessed by a trail on the southern ridge.

Taken on a hike with my family from Grindelwad First to the Grosse Scheidegg, Canton of Bern, Switzerland
Grosse Scheidegg (el. 1962 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland, connecting Grindelwald and Meiringen. The pass lies between the Schwarzhorn and the Wetterhorn.
The road over the pass is open only to bus traffic. However, hiking is popular and this pass forms part of the cross-country Alpine Pass Route.
In the Meiringen side, the pass goes along the Reichenbach river, known as the place of the last fight between Holmes and Moriarty. The waterfall can be visited easily using the Reichenbachfall-Bahn funicular railway.
